Hong Kong – Macau 4-Day Trip Expenses For A Family Of Three

If you are planning to go to Hong Kong and Macau and you’re wondering how much it might cost, this post will give you an idea. For our Hong Kong – Macau trip last February 3-6, 2015, Rupert, Zuri and I spent a grand total of PHP 62,054. We didn’t pay the full cost of the hotel and some of the food expenses because my sister, Han, paid for her share (1/3 of the cost). Also, 1 Macanese Pataca is equivalent to 1 Hong Kong Dollar and Hong Kong Dollar is accepted in Macau, so all our Macau expenses listed here are in HKD. Any unused value of the On-Loan Octopus Card may be reimbursed at any MTR costumer service counter or at designated booths at Hong Kong International Airport minus processing fee.
