Manila Ocean Park

Manila Ocean Park is an oceanarium in Manila, Philippines that has a floor space of 8,000 square meters (larger than Sentosa Underwater World). It was opened in 2008 and features a 25-meter underwater acrylic tunnel.

It was in April 2013 when we visited Manila Ocean Park after buying vouchers from Metrodeal. For PHP 750 per person, we were able to enjoy the following attractions: Oceanarium, Trails to Antarctica, Jellies Exhibit, All-Star Bird Show, Sea Lion Show, Birds of Prey Kingdom, Penguin Talk Show and Symphony Evening Show.

Oceanarium

Oceanarium contains 14,000 creatures belonging to 277 species, all indigenous to the Philippines and Southeast Asia. It is divided into the following sections: Flow (features freshwater fish), The Reef (features corals), Fishing Ground (features big fish and Eagle-spotted rays), Living Ocean (features the 25-m tunnel), The Deep (features marine animals from the deepest parts of Philippine waters), Stingray and Shark. Below are some of the photos I took during our visit.
