My phone was acting up yesterday so I wasn’t able to upload Zuri’s photos. Anyway, here is Zuri’s OOTD yesterday. 🙂

Zuri’s dress rehearsal for their Buwan ng Lahi Program is today! Here’s her costume/OOTD. 🙂
I made her wings and headdress using black, violet, blue, green, yellow, orange and pink cartolina and popsicle sticks, fuzzy wire, velcro, hot glue and double-sided tape. She’s also wearing black leotards from Yvonne SM Dept. Store North Edsa, black leather skirt from Mango Kids, black leggings from H&M and neon slippers from Ipanema. 🙂

Check out our matching oxfords! Rupert and I have the exact same design, custom made by Buddy Tan of Black Wing Shoes Marikina. Let’s support Filipino-made shoes. For more info, check out Black Wing’s Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/Black-Wing-Shoes-645356148875812/
Zuri’s oxfords are from Old Navy SM Megamall. 🙂
And here’s how Zuri wore her pair. 🙂

It’s been a rainy week! Classes have resumed in Quezon City and here is Zuri’s back-to-school OOTD. 🙂

It’s the end of the school week and I just realized that two of Zuri’s dresses this week (worn Aug. 2 and 3) were the same ones she wore during our Jakarta trip last December 2015, a trip I only got to write about in this blog a week ago… It seems that both Zuri and I are going down our Jakarta memory lane… 🙂 To read more about our Jakarta trip, click a title from the “Jakarta Trip” category at the top of this page. 🙂
Anyway, it’s blue and green again today… Can’t get enough of this color combo. 🙂

It’s Zuri’s choice again today… And she chose this midnight blue dress from Forever21 Kids. She paired it with white tights from H&M and her very versatile pair of black shoes from Sugar Kids. 🙂

Zuri was admitted to the hospital over the weekend so to make things as stress-free as possible for her now that she’s back home, I’ve decided to honor her wishes and make this day all about Zuri’s choices.
I let her choose whether to go to school or stay home and rest. She chose to go to school. That’s how much she loves school. 🙂
I let her choose what snacks to bring to school. She said she wanted spaghetti. Spaghetti? Done! 🙂
I let her choose what clothes and shoes to wear without any interference, influence or suggestion from me whatsoever.
When she was done dressing up, I found I totally love her style. I love how she paired her light blue H&M dress with her sparkly green pair of shoes. Light blue and green look pretty nice together. 🙂
On our way out, I let her strike any kind of pose she wanted, again without any kind of coaching from me. Below is what she came up with.
Finally, she asked me whether I was going to put her picture in my blog. I asked her if she wanted me to and she said yes. So here it is. Zuri’s OOTD. Zuri’s choice. 🙂
